Introducing Organic Blue Green Spirulina Powder for your Wellness and Joy!

Introducing Organic Blue Green Spirulina Powder for your Wellness and Joy!

Introducing Our New Organic Blue Green Spirulina

I've been taking spirulina since I was a teenager. Back then, I'd shake a teaspoon into a jar with orange juice and drink it down, despite its famously strong flavour. Over the years it became one of those wellness habits that simply stayed with me. Today I still enjoy it regularly, usually blended into a smoothie with protein powder, collagen, creatine and juice.

After more than forty years, it's still a superfood I genuinely miss when it's not part of my routine.

A Superfood with Ancient Roots

Spirulina is far from a modern health trend. It has been valued as a food for centuries.

The Aztecs harvested spirulina from Lake Texcoco in Mexico, drying it into nutrient-rich cakes that could be stored, transported and eaten while travelling.

On the other side of the world, communities around Lake Chad in Africa have traditionally harvested spirulina and formed it into sun-dried cakes known as dihé, which are still used as a food today.

Long before smoothies and superfood powders, people recognised spirulina as a remarkably nourishing source of nutrition.

What Makes Spirulina Special?

Spirulina is a blue-green microalgae that contains approximately 60-70% plant protein, along with naturally occurring vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids and pigments.

One of its most valuable compounds is phycocyanin, the brilliant blue pigment that contributes to spirulina's distinctive colour. Phycocyanin has become one of the most sought-after compounds in the superfood world and is now extracted to create the increasingly popular Blue Spirulina.

Why We Created Organic Blue Green Spirulina

We wanted the best of both worlds.

Our unique blend combines:

70% Organic Spirulina

30% Organic Blue Spirulina Extract (E25)

This allows you to enjoy the broad nutritional profile of whole spirulina while benefiting from enhanced levels of naturally occurring phycocyanin.

The result is a vibrant blue-green powder that looks beautiful and blends easily into your daily wellness routine.
