Its something thats instinct and natural to us all. Your mothers touch, your lovers touch, the light feeling of wellness as you receive your body work from a trusted practitioner. The tingle and goose bumps you get when you feel like something has lifted and shifted in your life.

This beautiful healing group of Yolngu Women come to us from North East Arnhem Land. Led by Gumatj clan leader, elder and healer, Eunice Djerrknu Marika, Yirritja woman, whom with her sisters and granddaughters seek to share with indigenous and non indigenous peoples their sacred and traditional healing ways and extraordinary bush medicines and unique colourful and vibrant Yolngu Cuture to the world.
These very important Gumatj Clan leaders and elders of Arnhem land will cleanse and heal people (men and women are welcomed into the the Saturday ceremony)
We will first share a special smoking and healing ceremony using the “Djilka” leaves to connect us all to Country, Land and Spirit. Following this we will boil in giant stockpots bush medicine leaves called “Bucharinganing”. Once these leaves are boiled we will then massage the healing oil released from these leaves into peoples bodies, aches, pains. This bush medicine can help heal anything from back ache, knees ache to depression and heart ache.
I have been invited to Byron Bay to work with these women in the healings. Ali and Kate who are in this picture have brought the ladies down south and the group are travelling with healers, artists, children and family. This week Tamara and Kirsten travelled with me down south to join in the womens healing day. I was delighted and honoured to be invited to heal with them and spent my time with head elder healer Eunice as she worked on people and allowed me to work on them too. It was so special.
Tomorrow I'm at Paradise One in Byron Bay with them again and yes, again I am honoured to be healing people by their side! Its such a beautiful feeling to know and trust your healing hands of light. Its a validation and a practice I have been doing for many years in my work. Now its open and people are asking me to help. These women are so good at what they do... Lifting and shifting illness through being a conduit and through prayer and white light healing. I can't describe this in words... Its so beautiful and I am so grateful to be welcomed by them.
I encourage you to use your healing hands of light and hold your healing touch close to your heart too. Its the difference between being vibrant and feeling wellness or not. Trust your healing hands. Let them remove what no longer serves you by shaking it away. Flicking off energy that feels stagnant. Use your healing hands to hold, cherish and breathe into body spaces and illnesses. Bless yourself and those around you at every opportunity and be the light. We are all the same... These ladies have taught me that... we are all healers.
