Thank you to everyone who came to see us at the Woodford Folk Festival, enjoyed our free community clinics, and soaked up the inspiration of herbal wellness. It’s something we’re pretty strong about… Herbal Wellness and Joy!
We are back into the year… 2026. Yes, it seems like our services were offline to some, and that’s because we take time each year to attend the Woodford Folk Festival where it’s busy. I program and produce the Yoga, Wellness, Folk Medicine, and Meditation in Motion Program — a process that takes me the whole year, starting in January when applications open and continuing right through to the end of each festival. Our program is fully supported by thousands of festival attendees. It’s incredible to watch the wheel of this festival turn through the year, from applications to development, production, and manifestation.
This year marks 20 years of programming and producing for me. I started in 2006 at the invitation of Bill Hauritz, who believed in me and saw something in my capacity that I could only dream of… an ability to represent wellness and create magic in what is Australia’s largest wellness festival, held within the cocoon of the Woodford Folk Festival where thousands of people make it happen annually. Vale Bill. You were a mentor to many of us and we are better people for your belief, mentoring and friendship.
With Medicine Room, we are now heading into our 22nd year at Eumundi Markets and our 27th year on the Blackall Range. Yes, we are a family business that thrives on genuine relationships with each other and on our personal and professional development. As we learn, educate, and grow together, we are able to offer you a really lovely experience in our free community clinics and our Maleny Herbal Dispensary.
People often ask, “Why are you only open one day a week in Maleny?” That’s because we manufacture everything from organic herbs and clean, minimal ingredients that have a footprint we are constantly navigating in this ever‑transient world. We make things happen, and when we are in clinic, we are fully present. Please come and say hello!
We have our first online webinar on Feb 12th. I understand the constant obsession you all have with parasites and stealth pathogens, and we are once again hosting a free webinar on the topic. Please register online. I’m excited to present some new information and welcome you to join us. Registered participants go in the draw for some prizes too.
Then on March 1st, we have our first live workshop in Maleny. Please see our website — in the morning we are making oxymels for stealth pathogens, and in the afternoon we are making herbal teas for immunity. Please book online as these sessions do sell out.
It’s all a bit exciting looking into 2026. It’s a year when we need to manifest our wellness. Make the effort, do the work, and reap the rewards. We are looking forward to sharing it with you all.

This is Tam and myself with Tulsi and Renn at the Childrens' Festival at Woodford Folk festival , Becky Wendall has been programming and producing the Childrens' Festival since the Festival started 38 years ago! She has just finished her final festival and I want to say a huge Thank you Becky! My children and now my Grand Children have enjoyed your amazing work and we loved afternoons in the Childrens Festival complete with icecreams' and face painting!
