Thanks for your patience" she said as I finally got to the front of the line at the post office the other day.

I smiled. " How are you holding up? " I asked my frazzled and busy  post office friend.

" Not so good"  she relied and" asked for some herbal stress ease to be delivered the next day!

That day at the post office, it was a long line, going up past the optometrist in town. People were standing a good one and a half metres away from each other. There was no banter, no chatting and everyone had a mask of indifference painted across their unrectified frown. Some had face masks and some had scarves. It didn't matter who we were we were staying away from each other. . 

I give so much respect and credit to the people who are in the front lines right now. The people who are facing the small numbers of public who brave the streets to go to the shops, bank, post office or those delivery drivers who come to our herbal dispensary daily with supplies and parcels!
